The stiffness started last night but this morning, when I woke up, I felt like I had been beaten to a pulp – I was in agony. Even going to the toilet, I struggled to bend to sit on to the toilet seat. You use a lot of lower body and stomach muscles when snowboarding, muscles which obviously I’ve never used or rarely use! John’s knee wasn’t in great shape either. He’s had trouble with it before but he said snowboarding was worth it.
We made our way down to breakfast with all the other people in the hostel who were off to the mountain for another day of skiing and snowboarding. We made our way to the sofa!
The rest of the day was a washout, we explored the town a little, made lunch, uploaded some pictures and tried to move as little as possible.
